An innovative decking solution

A layered decking solution made of natural teak, a stabilising rPET layer and an aluminium profile. The system uses DURAJ’S WOOD’s own technological solutions.

An innovative decking solution with a layered construction, based on a patented technology that combines natural teak, a stabilising rPET layer and an aluminium profile. The solution is currently in the implementation phase.

Status of the solution

The DURAJ’S WOOD decking solution is currently in the implementation phase and in preparation for the procedure of obtaining a National Technical Assessment (KOT). Until the relevant reference document is obtained, the solution is not offered as a product intended for general, serial use.

Whether it can be used is verified individually for each specific building, taking into account the technical conditions of the investment, the foundation method, dimensions, expected loads and the intended use.

Easy assembly

No nails, no screws: the parts click together almost automatically. Assembly is faster, the risk of mistakes smaller, and no fixings show on the surface.

Sustainable materials

The aluminium is 95% recycled, the exotic wood comes from responsibly managed, certified plantations, and the stabilising rPET layer is made from recycled plastic bottles.

Teak, the wood of yachts

Teak is widely used on luxury yachts and is highly resistant to sun, rain and snow. The possibility of using other exotic species is considered individually for each specific investment.

Beautiful for years

Natural wood greys over time and the terrace stays beautiful. If you prefer to keep the original colour, annual maintenance stops the greying.

The projects shown are for reference and the photos are illustrative. In each of the investments presented, the solution was selected individually to suit the technical conditions and assumptions of that building. The projects shown are not a universal model for applying the solution in other investments.

The technology of the DURAJ’S WOOD decking solution was developed in a research project co-financed by the European Funds – Smart Growth programme.

Enquiries about the possibility of using the solution are considered individually for each specific investment.

The information on this page is provided for information purposes only. It does not constitute a National Technical Assessment or a national declaration of performance. Whether the DURAJ’S WOOD solution can be used is verified individually for each specific investment, and the scope of the required documentation is determined separately for each building.
